I took a walk through Joann's and found this absolutely matching flower to go with my t shirt.
I just pinned and sewed it on.
It really churched it up, as they say. I'm sure I could make one of these myself, but I just haven't put the time in. Clean the bathroom?...or Change her diaper...oh! or I could make this awesome bow. In my case, I did the first two...
Hope everyone has had a good week thus far. I've been keeping myself busy, and haven't gotten to the computer much. Also, blogger lost some of my saved posts and you may have had an error this last weekend if you tried to get to a blogger page. Their whole site was down.

Polish Kielbasa Sausage and Peppers
Always looking for an easy recipe, I came across this. My husband had grilled the onions, peppers and mushrooms in foil the day before, so these are the leftovers!
All you do is chop and add some olive oil. Grill in a pouch of aluminum foil. I think you could also try this in the oven...but I haven't done that yet. Make sure to close it up so it steams.
Saute up your precooked sausage and add your steamed onions, peppers and mushrooms. I really like the texture of these vegetables.
Coming this next week, I have recipes for a Thai Peanut pasta and some Creamed Spinach as well as some Shirt Refashions.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. Quite a weather change we've had lately. Back to jackets. What are you doing?

Whoopie Pies!
I woke up today, sunny side up. I'm not really sure why...
because I was especially exhausted. I'm blaming the unusual heat we've been having. If not that, then it's because my daughter is working on 2 more teeth. She wakes up crying every so often, and goes back to sleep.
Poor baby. Again at 5 this morning she was crying...I got all the way to her room and waited, and lo and behold, she stopped. Yea! I eagerly went back to bed. The sheets never felt so good. I've never loved sleep as much as I do now after having a baby. It really makes you appreciate it.
Well, we celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary Saturday. I made the Whoopie Pies! I'm so glad they turned out. I can cook, but I'm the first to say that baking is not my strong point.
Whoopie Cookie
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks (save whites for filling)
5 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup milk
Now make the filling...

4 Cups of Confectioners Sugar
4 Eggs Whites
Pinch of salt
2 Tsp. Vanilla
Beat all Ingredients until creamy, about 2-3 Minutes. Cool the cookies, and then spoon this frosting on. Add another cookies on top. Your Finished! Now go give your husband some whoopie...whoopie pie,,uh cookie!
