Mod Podge Scrapbook Wood Letter Tutorial

I'm gonna show you how to do this yourself!
All you need is:
1 wooden letter (mine was prepainted from Joann's 50% off!)
Pencil or pen
Scrapbook paper, just enough for your letter
Mod Podge
1 Foam Brush
Oh, and scissors!
Trace around letter, right facing letter and paper.

Brush on Mod Podge onto letter making sure the whole top is covered.  Immediately place cut out letter on top and press.  Smooth out any bubbles.

Let dry 20 Minutes.  Brush Mod Podge over the whole letter. Careful not to over brush.  If it bubbles, Do not touch! It should smooth out on it's own as it drys.
There ya go! So easy.
Mod Podge is so awesome. It's a glue and a finish. So many uses!

My Baby Girl's New Tank from mine

My little girl is 9 month's old now. I had this tank that used to fit (who knows how??). It was an XXS.

You can check out more ideas at my blog here

My XXS Tank from Old Navy
My sister had given my girl this tank, so I used this as my inspiration.
I think she thought I was going to take it away.  Just tak'in a picture baby!
I sewed in the sides, shorted the bottom and cut the top straps and shortened them.  I was going to sew some cute buttons over top the straps, but I haven't gotten to it.

I grabbed a scrap from my husband's cut up t-shirt.  Ran a baste stitch and then gathered it. I then rolled it around into a flower and stitched it on.
Viola!

Baby Leggings in 5 Minutes or less

Sewright -Blog by Ruth Yoder
These are the cutest leggings! And soo easy to make.

 All you need is:
1 pair of socks. I used Knee socks, so my 6 month old little girl will be able to wear these into next year.
Sewing machine.
Thread. (Thought is should mention it.)
Pins.

Cut off the toe and the heel sections on both pairs.
I cut through both at the same time. No time to waste!

Toss the toe and heel sections, but keep the middle portion and top.

Fold wrong sides in so you have a cuff.
Lay with both raw edges facing the same direction.
Now put your cuff around the long portion of the sock so that all raw edges are facing out as in the picture.
 Pin...not so hard, right?
Now slip the sock around your machine arm. I took off the extra table surface on my machine. This will stretch the sock while you sew.  Sew around a half inch, pulling while you go around. This is so your threads will not break when you stretch it to put it on.

I pinked my edges, but you don't really need to, as these socks do not usually unravel.
And here you are. Finished. Now go see how cute they look on your little one.
