Number Puzzle Redo with Modpodge

I love these things. I can't explain why.
The wooden number puzzle had some wear to it.  I saw this as an opportunity to make them even more colorful.  My daughter loves these too, though she's still learning you can do more than just take the numbers off and spread them throughout the living room.

With some Modpodge, and scrapbook paper, we got this:
Did I mention a lot of cutting! shew!
I got the paper for $0.10 cents at Joann Fabrics.
 What do you think?

Mod Podge Scrapbook Wood Letter Tutorial

I'm gonna show you how to do this yourself!
All you need is:
1 wooden letter (mine was prepainted from Joann's 50% off!)
Pencil or pen
Scrapbook paper, just enough for your letter
Mod Podge
1 Foam Brush
Oh, and scissors!
Trace around letter, right facing letter and paper.

Brush on Mod Podge onto letter making sure the whole top is covered.  Immediately place cut out letter on top and press.  Smooth out any bubbles.

Let dry 20 Minutes.  Brush Mod Podge over the whole letter. Careful not to over brush.  If it bubbles, Do not touch! It should smooth out on it's own as it drys.
There ya go! So easy.
Mod Podge is so awesome. It's a glue and a finish. So many uses!

Flowered Wreath

It was fun changing up this grass wreath.  I bought it a couple years ago at Joann Fabric on clearance.
I grabbed some scrapbook paper, wire, buttons, and scissors.
I cut out some flowers and then some pieces of burlap. I also had to eat some of my favorite chocolate candies! Yum!
I layered the burlap, paper, and button and put a wire through.  I also twisted up some burlap for a flower.
Added these to my wreath. Easy Peasy. I've seen many different things online, but this I had all the stuff for, which makes for a great project!

I bet you could add these to so many things. Any thoughts?
