I had the joy of making pillow-covers for my best friend. I just adored how they turned out. She picked this fantastic material. Floral and soft!
Accented by this cute button, these are my favorite style. The pillow is tucked inside this cute envelope. I need some now!
I also had some time to frequent the Salvation Army. I found this Target Dwell Studio Baby Crib Blanket. I love it!! I only paid $4.50 and it's brand new.
I'm not pregnant or anything, but I'm saving this for the day I have my baby boy.
It's the perfect design...and I love giraffes!! Now I have a starting point for decorating his room. I'm sure I could swing this for a girl too!
I'm trying to get more followers to my blog. Please share me with your friends. I will be counting followers, and commmenters starting today. I will be doing a giveaway next week.
I'll put all the names in a hat and have my little girl draw one for fairness. The more you comment or share my blog, the more chances to win. The giveaway name will be picked this next Friday!

For the little Ones...Embellished Baby Dress / Refinished Stools
I found these fabric flower buttons recently and just had to get them!
This dress has always been a bit plain.
Baby Girl trying to get involved in putting on this button. Two minutes later, this dress is way cuter!
It has been a very busy week. How about you?
My husband refinished these stools. They were broken and plain...unfinished looking wood. He used Antique White Milk paint on the legs, then sanded some off for the Antique effect.
He glued the seats back together, and put on a Walnut Danish Oil. Turned out very nice! I wish I had taken the before picture so I could've shown you. I hope everyone has a great weekend, and the weather warms up again...I wish!

Stethoscope Covers
My friend Vicki, a Nurse, introduced me to the need for Stethoscope covers. It keeps the oils from breaking down the casing, and then having to replacing that plastic tubing.
I wish I was a nurse now, just so I could have a whole bunch of these fabric covers! Guess I would need a lot of schooling for that! Vicki is an Alumni from Purdue University, so this one is perfect!
If you want a cover for you or your nurse friend, you can contact me by email at: Italianbistro15@gmail.com
