Awesome Sauteed Peppers and Onions

I have the luck of having red, yellow, and green peppers.  I wanted to use them as a side, so I came up with this
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup of each pepper, sliced into strips
1/4 Cup of Onion, sliced into strips
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Dash of Salt
Fresh Ground pepper
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
3 Tbsp Red Wine vinegar

Directions:
Saute the Peppers and onions in olive oil for 7-10 Minutes over medium heat.
Add seasonings, and stir around for another minute.
Turn off the heat and add the red wine vinegar.
That's it, your done.  Serve it up.  I had mine with Sausage and Rice and a slice of bread I toasted on one side with butter, garlic and basil.  Wonderful!

Spring Fresh Green Beans from your freezer

Ahh...spring.  I just love that smell of fresh air.  I also love garden fresh vegetables.  Obviously it's too early for vegetables in the back yard, but I made these green beans the other day, and they hit the spot.

Ingredients:
8 Oz Frozen Green beans
Bacon Drippings
3 Tsp Brown Sugar
Pinch of Salt

Directions:
Add frozen green beans to a tbsp or so of bacon drippings.  Cover and let it heat up for 5 Minutes.  Then add sugar and salt.  Pepper is optional.  Uncover and saute until cooked through.

Spring starts Tomorrow!
I've already been to a garage sale, I can't believe they were already ready.  I got a purse for $1.  Super cute.  I went about transferring my things over, only to find 7 Pens & 3 Pencils, not to mention old receipts and bags of snacks for the little one.  Anyone else collect so many of one thing? and not even know it?

Happy Spring to you!

Reversible Pinafore Shirt for a Toddler

I saw this cute Pinafore dress made for 6-12 month babes.  The lady made the pattern but was using the dress as a shirt for her toddler girl.
I tried it, and it is an easy pattern.  However I do wonder if it printed at 111% instead of 100%.  She said there was an issue with it, and this fits my almost 2 year old perfect, even almost as a dress.  Matched with some cute leggings this thing is super cute.
I used fabric I had on hand.  I think I will make a pattern for a regular top without the pinafore back to save on fabric and extra long stitching.
You can find the pattern here.

Dinner tonight?
