Mirrored Jewelry Box - The Chicago Bench Co

Andrew recently was commissioned to make this beautiful jewelry box.  Each Mirror piece had to be hand beveled by a professional, something you'd think would be an easy thing.  Those were sent out to be done, and he created this beautiful box.
You can see more of his work here at the Chicago Bench Co on CustomMade.
It has sections, and the doors open to a necklace carousel and drawers.

Walnut drawers and and sections with pink satin interior lining.
For Christmas, he made me a jewelry box.  I can't wait to show you!  I'll be posting it soon.

Today is supposed to be snow! What are your plans today?

Garlic Ginger Pork Roast

I really love pork roast.  That being said, I really love this pork roast!  It only takes a few seasonings for this great dinner.

Ingredients:
1.5 lb Pork Sirloin Roast
Ground Ginger
Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper

Directions:
Mix seasonings together and spread over the top of the roast.  I put the fat side up, so that the juices run into the meat.  Roast at 325 F degrees for an hour and a half or until the temp reaches at least 160 f degrees in the meat.  Let rest for 5-10 minutes and then slice and serve.  Yum! I love the tasty crispy top too.
Enjoy it with:
