Toddler Pants for 12-24 Months

I have been looking for leggings for my little girl.  I've seen some cute stuff, but I thought I'd try my hand at it.

I took a pair of her pants that fit well, and folded them in half.  I folded my fabric in half so I had a fold.  I cut around the pants leaving a 1/2" seam allowance.  You need to of the same.

Right sides together, I sewed the crotch area only, stopping by the leg. I then sewed the hem of the pants.

Turn Pants, so they look like regular pants and pin and sew around from one leg around to the other.  Pretty self explanatory at this point.

I added pajama elastic to the waist.  I made it 3/4 of the waist of the pants, and stretched it to fit as I sewed.

They turned out so cute!  I love 'em.  They take 15 minutes, which is pretty fast.

Toddler Leggings from baby tights

These cute leggings can help use up any battered or too small tights.  Mine were a little of both.
Start with a pair of tights.
I gauged the length by what she can wear now.
I just cut of the bare minimum for the size I wanted.
Pin on some lace around the bottom and sew on.

Very cute.

She loves 'em!

And so does her Mama!

Apple Cinnamon Cheese Rolls

Faith's Apple Cheese Rolls
My sister Faith made these Apple Cinnamon Cheese Rolls.  They look delish!  I so want to try one!

She sauteed the apples in butter then added a little sugar and cinnamon to the mixture after turning off the heat.  She put it on the crescent rolls after spreading the cream cheese.  She didn't put any sugar in the cream cheese because it was in with the apples.  You can see the rest of the recipe here.  You should definitely try these! I know I'm going to!

We went apple picking last week at The County Line Orchard.  What a ton of fun! The kids loved it!
Apple Picking
We got $8.00 worth of Apples, but could've picked a lot more!  There were also doughnuts in the shops and lots of jarred goodies!

Did you get to do everything you wanted this summer?
